Pointd Pal for Discord

Discord Coming soon

The same Pointd Pal as in Slack: your own point name and emoji, the visible allowance, company values, rewards your admins approve, opt-in celebrations, the weekly digest, and the admin panel with inclusivity analytics. Each server is its own Pointd Pal workspace, with its own scores, rewards, settings and plan.

Giving recognition

• /pp give: pick someone, write a reason, and optionally a company value.
• Right-click a message or a person and choose Apps → Give a point. The form opens with them already picked.
• React to someone's message with your server's point emoji. Take the reaction back and the point goes with it.
• Mention the bot: @Pointd Pal @name ++ for <reason>.
• /recognize opens the same form, for several people at once.

For admins

Admins sign in to the admin panel with Discord. The server owner and anyone with the Administrator or Manage Server permission get in.

What's different from Slack

• Pointd Pal never needs to read your whole conversation. Commands, the right-click menu, reactions and messages that mention it are enough.
• Members are added to Pointd Pal as they take part, rather than from the full member list, so the People page grows with use.
• Discord has no app home tab, so /pp home opens a private view only you can see: your points, what you have left to give, your balance and rewards to redeem, your celebration dates, the opt-out switch and a way to send feedback. /pp help lists every command.
• Pointd Pal pings only the people being recognized. It never pings @everyone, @here or a role.

Your data

Pointd Pal uses a server's recognitions only to run that server's recognition program, for its own admins and members. Nothing is shared between servers, sold, used for advertising or used to train AI.
