Pointd Pal is installed

We've sent you a DM in Slack with these steps. They take about a minute.

Three steps to the first recognition

  1. Invite Pointd Pal to a channel where people say thanks: type /invite @Pointd Pal in that channel.
  2. Give the first point: @someone ++ for <reason>. Anyone can, and everyone in the channel sees it.
  3. Open the admin panel to name your points, add your company values and pick a channel for the weekly digest.

Where to find things

  • Pointd Pal's Home tab in Slack shows everyone their numbers. Admins also see a setup list that ticks itself off as you go.
  • Send Pointd Pal help in a DM for every command, in your workspace's wording.
  • The help page covers points, allowances, rewards and the admin panel.
